Ian Dallimore
Ian Dallimore began his career in sports marketing as the Director of Marketing for the Houston Astros' Triple-A Baseball team before joining Lamar Advertising in 2004. Over the past 19+ years, he has played a pivotal role in shaping Lamar’s digital evolution, leading initiatives in marketing, national sales, innovation, and Digital Out-of-Home strategy.
As VP of Digital Growth and GM of Programmatic at Lamar, Ian drives digital transformation by collaborating with programmatic SSPs, DSPs, brands, and agencies to develop strategic DOOH solutions. A visionary in the industry, he has helped introduce and scale technology companies like AdStruc (automation), Blue Bite (mobile), and Vistar Media (programmatic), playing a key role in Vistar’s acquisition by T-Mobile.
Ian works closely with Lamar’s IT and Digital NOC teams to pioneer advancements in APIs, social platform integrations, data-driven attribution, and interactive technologies, all while maintaining a strong foundation in traditional OOH. His thought leadership extends beyond Lamar, having chaired the OAAA Innovation Committee and serving on advisory boards for Colossal Media, DPAA, DSF, DSE, GeoPath, Cards and Culture, and the Three O’Clock Project.
A graduate of Louisiana State University with a degree in Business Marketing and a minor in Communications, Ian was recognized with the OAAA’s inaugural Rising Star Award in 2019 and named to Baton Rouge’s Forty Under 40 list.
Ian is also the host of Digital & Dirt, a podcast where he engages with industry leaders, brands, and futurists on the future of advertising and technology.
Outside of work, Ian enjoys quality time with his wife, Katie, and their four kids—13-year-old triplets, Amelie, Ellie, and Jake, and 11-year-old Wes. The Dallimore family embraces the “controlled chaos” of their busy lives in Baton Rouge, LA, and where ever their sports and acting take them!
